Tours
Private companies, groups and schools are offered guided tours. Get insight into the art exhibitions, the sculpture park or hear about the history of Silkeborg Vandkuranstalt.
You can choose between the following tours:
Special exhibition focusing on one of the curent art exhibitions
Silkeborg Vandkuranstalts historie with a focus on the spa period and the buildings (the tour takes place primarily outdoors with a walk in the park)
Sculpture park with stories about a selection of the park's sculptures
Prices
- Weekdays: 750 kroner (excl. entrance fee)
- Evenings, Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays: 900 kroner (excl. entrance fee)
- Extraordinary opening hours:
- Per hour started, Monday-Friday 8:00-17:00: 600 kroner.
- Per hour started, evening after 17:00, Saturday and Sunday: 800 kroner.
- Additional fee 150 kroner for foreign languages.
- Max. 25 people per guide.
Practical information
- A tour usually lasts 45-50 minutes.
- The tour can be arranged to meet the wishes of the individual group.
- Tours must be booked at least 14 days before the visit.
- A tour always includes a short introduction to the place if you have not been here before.

School visits
Guided tours are free for schools and institutions in Silkeborg Municipality. Schools and institutions outside the municipality pay the regular list price for guided tours. In connection with selected exhibitions, special courses, activities or teaching materials are organized for schools.
Lectures outside the house
It is possible to book an in-house lecture with director Iben From, when her calendar allows. Here you will hear about European and local prerequisites for the spa business, which began on site in the late 19th century. Duration 1½ hours, possibly in two sections. Illustrative slides will be shown during the lecture. Price all inclusive DKK 4,000, invoiced subsequently.
